TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL INFORMATION

These terms and conditions, along with our privacy policy and the information published on our website and marketing materials, form the basis of your agreement with IX Travels (referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”). By booking any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.

References to “you” or “your” include the main booking party and all participants listed in the reservation.

By confirming a reservation:

  • You agree to provide accurate and complete personal information.
  • You confirm that all members in the booking understand and accept these terms.
  • You accept full financial responsibility for the booking.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENTS

TOURS

  • To confirm your booking for a tour, a 50% deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable. The remaining 50% must be paid at least one day before the tour date. Bookings are only confirmed once the deposit is received. All tour payments are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. However, if we cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.

SHUTTLES

  • Shuttle services must be paid in full (100%) at the time of booking.
  • Payments confirm your spot and allow us to schedule drivers and vehicles accordingly.
  • Delays caused by traffic or road conditions may occur and are beyond our control.

PAYPAL FEES

  • If you choose to pay via PayPal, a 5.7% processing fee will be added.
  • Please note that this fee is non-refundable and will not be considered in case of any cancellation or refund.

AGENCY ROLE

  • The agency acts solely as an intermediary between the client and service providers (transportation companies, guides, tour operators, etc.)

  • While we are committed to selecting and working with providers of the highest quality, the agency is not responsible for the quality, operation, performance, conduct, damages, or any inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by external providers.

LIMITED LIABILITY 

  • Weather conditions, natural phenomena, road closures, or any circumstances beyond our control that affect the execution of the tour.

  • Delays or cancellations caused by airlines, transportation, traffic, government decisions, strikes, or unforeseen events.

DOCUMENTATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 

  • The client is responsible for carrying their personal and valid documentation (passport, visas, entry permits, driver’s licenses, etc.).

  • The agency is not responsible if the lack of proper documents prevents the client from taking a tour or trip.

CUSTOMER CONDUCT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

  • Clients are expected to show respect for guides, operators, and other participants during all activities.
  • The client understands and accepts that certain activities (hikes, sports, adventure tours, vehicle rides, etc.) involve inherent risks. By participating, the client does so at their own responsibility.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

TOURS

  • Tours are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
  • However, if we cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
  • Since in most of the tours transportation is shared, please allow a 15–30 minute window for pick-up, as other travelers will be collected along the route.

SHUTTLES

  • Transportation reservations are non-refundable unless canceled at least 24 hours in advance. In that case, you will be entitled to a 25% refund, excluding any taxes, PayPal fees, bank fees, or other charges.
  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.

FLIGHT DELAYS

  • If your flight is delayed, we will do our best to accommodate you. Please notify us as soon as possible so we can coordinate with our drivers.
  • However, if the delay exceeds 4 hours from your original scheduled arrival time, we cannot guarantee the service, and a refund will not be issued.
  • If your flight is canceled or you miss it and you inform us less than 4 hours in advance, a refund will not be possible.
  • We are not responsible for any delays caused by accidents, traffic, or any other situation beyond our control.

MEETING TIMES AND LOCATIONS

  • Meeting times and pickup details will be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • It is your responsibility to be on time. We are not responsible for missed services due to lateness.
  • If you do not show up, your booking will be considered a no-show. No refund will be issued, and the service is non-transferable to another date or time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clients are responsible for their own behavior and must comply with local laws and regulations.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behavior may disturb others or endanger the group.
  • IX Travels is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, nor for any accidents or injuries that occur during the tour or transfer. Such incidents fall under the responsibility of the client or the third-party provider as per their individual policies.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

If you have any special requests (e.g. allergies, mobility needs, etc.), please notify us at the time of booking. While we do our best to accommodate, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled.

CHANGE TO ITINERARIES 

  • IX Travels reserves the right to make changes to itineraries due to weather conditions, road closures, political events, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • In the event of cancellation by IX Travels, a full refund or alternative option will be offered.

IMAGES AND PROMOTION

By joining any of our tours or services, you grant us permission to use photographs or videos taken during the activity for promotional purposes (e.g. social media, website, etc.), unless you notify us otherwise in writing prior to the activity.

COMPLAINTS

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the service, please speak to our staff immediately so we can address the issue on-site. If the issue remains unresolved, please email us at info@ixtravels.com within 7 days of the service date. We value your feedback and will review each case individually.

CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version published at the time of your booking will apply.
